White blood corpuscles

White blood corpuscles.
White blood cells are a kind of “blood police”. They protect us against bacteria, viruses and other pathogens.

These blood cells, which are actually colorless, are called white blood cells because they form a white paste when separated from the other blood cells. One cubic millimeter of blood contains between 4,000 and 10,000 white blood cells.
